With this day and age, the availability of the internet has taken out the element of surprise out of certain things in life. For example, when people go out on dates with people they have just met, they would do an internet search on them to find out more about a particular person, rather than getting to know the person him/herself. I just finished watching Season7, Episode6 of HIMYM and realized that has become our society. The use of internet has challenged the element of mystery in our lives.
As a result of this...this curiosity of wanting to look up stuff on the internet...had ruined Ted's date with a girl. He would have been better off not looking her up in the first place!!
